.NAME Domain Name Registrations

Started in 2001, the .NAME extension is the sole TLD meant for personal websites only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are famous by. At first, only third-level registrations were permitted, so if you planned to secure john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already grabbed 3rd-level domains remained running.

Through our company, you can purchase your dot NAME domain for a period between 1 and 10 years. You will be able to alter the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an existing domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer authorization key from the present domain service provider and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finalized. There are no special prerequisites on who can book a .NAME domain, but in order to preserve the objective behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry organization may check who the Registrant is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.

The dot NAME universal TLD is among the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no additional cost. In this way, your dot NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the correct spelling in your native language.
